Welcome to my page listing the current weaving activities that I have to offer at various venues in Hampshire in the south of England
As someone who works with willow and other natural materials I love sharing my craft with others, so whether you are a total novice or someone who has some experience and enjoys experimenting and trying something different I have plenty of activities to choose from.
I offer a variety of options for individuals including weekday and weekend workshops as well as providing activities for groups/organizations./ schools etc and working on larger bespoke projects.

Willow woodpecker or kingfisher at Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve
£60 per person This workshop is available as a small group workshop maximum 3 -4 atendees at Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve, Hill Head, Fareham Please contact me to discuss potential dates during the week
Join me at this lovely venue overlooking the Solent along Hill Head beach
Where we will be creating one of our most recognizable wild birds.
Your bird will be created with metal legs on a wooden block.
I will provide light refreshments tools and materials.
You can bring your own lunch or if you prefer reserve a space in the lovely cafe downstairs
Please note that access is the workshop venue is via stairs. Parking is a short walk away which you will need to pay for.

Create a willow bird feeder workshop£35
Tudor House Museum and Gardens , Southampton

Enjoy this relaxing and traditional art overlooking the Tudor House Garden, while you are guided through the process of working with willow to make two different woven bird feeders; a willow cone and a willow spiral.

Create a willow bee sculpture
£65 (10 am-4 pm workshop) Date Saturday 21st May, 30th June and 9th July
A great statement piece and unusual sculpture, you can create a honey bee or bumblebee or any bee of your choice.

Willow dragonfly’s and Butterfly’s workshop
£35 Saturday 11th June- 9.30 am -1 pm Hedge End nr Southampton
A great introduction to willow weaving enjoy creating your very own willow dragonfly and butterfly.

Create a willow hare workshop
£80, Butser Hill Ancient Farm, Saturday 25th June 10am – 4pm

Students hares
Create a sitting hare, an animal steeped in mystery and storytelling, and a lovely addition to your home or garden. You can create your hare with its ears down and looking upwards to the heavens or ears up facing forward.
You will learn a variety of techniques including a variety of basketry techniques and freeform weaving to create your sculpture.

Willow birdhouse workshop
£65 Tuesday 19th July, 10am – 4.30pm,

Create a teardrop-shaped willow birdhouse, with a round or square
entrance hole, a great introduction to basketry techniques
All tools and materials are included in the workshop, basic refreshments

The workshops on this page are suitable for all levels of experience and are available to adults. You will need to have good hand strength and dexterity if this is a problem for you please contact me before booking a place to discuss.
To book a place in my workshops you can pay via my online shop or in the link in the index above, if you prefer to pay by a bank transfer etc please contact me
If the places are full then I often keep a waiting list and if there is enough interest I will organize another date. If you would like to keep updated simply email me and I will add your details to my mailing list.
