You will often find me at a number of events selling some of my creations, providing demonstrations and offering craft activities

  Autumn update I have lots of willow making activities arranged for the autumn including workshops making   mushrooms, owls, deer and crafts for  Christmas. For further details

 

Stay Wild Festival at Itchen Valley Country Park on the 9th and 10th September

Providing family friendly willow activities creating snails, fish and dragonflies

 

Other activities  planned including  wire owl decorations and family activities include family tree of life weaving activity at the New Forest Art Centre and clay creatures for the autumn half term.

Creating Willow Christmas Stars and mini Wreaths at Southampton Scrapstore Coffee Cake and Christmas Crafts Fundraising event.

A Saturday in November  Church of the Ascension, 1 Thorald,Road, Bittern Triangle, Southampton so18 1hz

Come along and make Christmas crafts for adults and children, browse the craft stalls and a pick and mix Scrapstore, eat and drink refreshments, including coffee, tea (other drinks also available) and cakes (lunches also available from the Church cafe).

Free entry, all activities and refreshments for a fee, which will be donated to the Scrapstore. All proceeds will help the Scrapstore’s work – bringing you arts and crafts materials that would otherwise end up as waste. https://www.facebook.com/sotonscrapstore/

Previous so far this year

I provided the willow crafts area at Blissfields Music Festival located nr Winchester for the weekend of the 6th, 7th and 8th July http://www.blissfields.co.uk/craft-area/ I’m really looking forward to this as I used to provide activities at the early festivals when it was still on the farm so it will be interesting to see how it has evolved.

Last Autumn

Between  October and the end of December I am taking my willow crafts and handmade peg looms to a variety of events and as well as showing my creations.

father christmas Edwardian Workers Christmas Fayre at Bursledon Brickworks Sunday 27th November 11am -4pm Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum, Coal Park Ln, Swanwick, Southampton SO31 7GW, UK ,

A Christmas Fair with a difference. Lots of really lovely activities with an Edwardian theme. I will be there at the  Christmas market upstairs selling my willow creations and peg looms all handcrafted by fair hands I will also be demonstrating how to weave with a peg loom and you can have ago at making willow stars
There will be lot of crafts and traditional fayre  live music and, of course, a visit from Father Christmas.
The museum engines will all be working the, trains running and the  cafe will be serving lovely Xmas Fair.
